How to read the figures.
- Residential ranks come from Google ratings adjusted for review volume. They are customer-rating evidence, not inspections.
- Commercial ranks count distinct KCMO addresses with an issued commercial electrical permit declaring $100,000 or more, applied Oct. 1, 2021 – May 9, 2025. They measure historical activity, not quality or current capacity.
- Credential records show the authority, number and the date we observed them. A missing record is a research limit, not a finding that a company is unlicensed.
- “T-” marks a tie. Positions are fixed for an edition; the current edition is Kansas City · 2026 Q4, published Oct 4, 2026.
How to attribute.
Attribute figures to “Electrician Benchmark” and link the specific company record or finding. Every record carries a ready-made citation, for example:
Electrician Benchmark, “435 Electric” company record, observed Oct 4, 2026, https://electricianbenchmark.com/kansas-city/electricians/435-electric/
