EDITORIAL / CORRECTIONS

A better record starts with a specific correction.

Send a correction with the company, the claim and the source that supports a change.

Use this form to send the editorial desk a correction or a privacy request. A submission does not guarantee a changed ranking; the evidence and method determine the result.

What makes a correction useful?

Name the company, describe the disputed claim and provide the most direct supporting source available. An official record or a company page showing the exact entity is more useful than a request for a more favorable position.

Please leave out personal licensee details, home addresses, account passwords and other sensitive information. Requests are reviewed privately; your submission is not published automatically.

How a change is handled.

The editorial review checks the source and the company identity before changing a record. If a scoring input changes, the whole affected cohort is recalculated so ties and counts remain consistent. A request for a more favorable position is not evidence.

Changes in the October 4 edition.

  • Counted only issued commercial permits, excluding cancelled, voided, revoked and expired records. Electrical Connections falls below the three-site floor.
  • Kept KC One Service and Electric One LLC as separate records; each has three qualifying sites and shares T-27.
  • Resolved JMC’s operating-name link and Mr. Electric of Kansas City’s licensed operator. Mr. Electric’s ambiguous permit records remain unattributed.
  • Corrected address-state fields, including Metro Electric in Bonner Springs, Kansas.
  • Updated residential scope and service evidence. The October 4 observation cohort contains 60 eligible companies: 50 ranked and ten evaluated without a rank.
